Whole Foods to open first lifestyle store

LOS ANGELES -- Whole Foods Markets will open on Oct. 28 its first lifestyle concept store in West Hollywood, Calif. The concept was first incorporated in the Austin flagship store that opened in March.

The 2,000-square-foot Whole Foods Market Lifestyle store will be a separate space next to the West Hollywood Whole Foods Market location.

The offerings will include organic American apparel, bamboo chairs, recycled glass dinnerware, U2's Bono's line of clothing for men and women, ,paints free of volatile organic compounds, John Masters Organics Salon Hair and Facial Care and recycled handbags and gifts.

In addition, the store is built with such sustainable and environmentally friendly materials as flooring, walls, paint, hemp curtains for the dressing rooms and reused furniture as displays and for sale.
