The fee charged to practitioners who request information about themselves (self-query) from the National Practitioner Data Bank has decreased from $10 to $8, the Health Resources and Services Administration announced in the May 24 Federal Register. The reduced fee, effective July 1, is the result of the NPDB's transition from a paper-based to a web-based process.
