Nation's Restaurant News,  Sept 27, 1993

MT. KISCO, N.Y. -- Three New York-area restaurateurs and one chef are banding together to open the Lexington Square Cafe in this Westchester suburb next month.

Michael Bergman, former general manager of Docks seafood restaurant on the West Side of Manhattan, is teaming with Jim Sullivan, owner of Westchester's Rye Grill in Rye, N.Y., Sullivan's partner Jan Fabry -- who is also the restaurant's general contractor -- and chef Adam Odegard, former executive chef at New York's Peninsula Hotel. Odegard's American menu will feature pastas, pizzas, grilled chicken, poultry and fish and original sandwiches. Open six days for lunch and seven for dinner, the restaurant will seat 160 inside and 70 outside on the patio. Average per-person checks will be $10 at lunch and $20 at dinner.
