Joe's Crab Shack adds more salads, sandwiches

Nation's Restaurant News,  Feb 12, 2007

HOUSTON -- The 120-unit Joe's Crab Shack chain said it was expanding its seafood-focused menu to include more salads and sandwiches. Joe's Crab Shack Holdings Inc., which bought the chain from Landry's Restaurants Inc. in November, said the brand also would eliminate artificial trans fats from its fare and adjust the prices and presentations of its crab dishes.

Joe's also said it would introduce island-theme alcoholic beverages and nonalcoholic smoothies. Menu additions include a pesto-chicken baguette, a Pacific coast fish wrap and a Buffalo chicken salad.
