Yard House adds salad, sandwich and 'stack'

IRVINE, CALIF. -- Yard House, a seven-unit American fusion chain that is based here and specializes in draft beer, added three items to its menu. They are a barbecue-chicken salad with pasilla peppers, corn, beans and cheese with chipotle ranch dressing and onions for $11.95; a New York steak sandwich with crisp sweet-potato fries, roasted tomatoes, melted Swiss cheese, fried onions and aioli for $14.95; and an "enchilada stack," which is layers of grilled chicken in garlic cream sauce with pinto beans and red and green salsa, for $13.95.

Yard House was a 2002 winner of Nation's Restaurant News' Hot Concept! Award.
