NRAEF to offer 3rd edition of ServSafe course book

CHICAGO -- The National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation will release the third edition of its ServSafe Coursebook and ServSafe Essential Feb. 16.

The new edition will offer new and restructured content, including updates from the 2003 supplement to the 2001 Food and Drug Administration Code and new science-based information plus examples of best food-safety practices in the industry.

The NRAEF is committed to constantly updating food-safety training materials and information for the industry, said Mary Adolf, president and chief operating officer of the nonprofit organization.
