Aramark, Pittsburgh pirates team up to replace Ballpark's Outback eatery

Nation's Restaurant News,  Dec 17, 2007

PHILADELPHIA -- Aramark Corp., the contract foodservice conglomerate based here, will partner with Major League Baseball's Pittsburgh Pirates to open a new restaurant at the team's PNC Park stadium that will replace the now-shuttered Outback Steakhouse that originally was housed there.

Designs for the new restaurant, a casual dinnerhouse, will be unveiled early next year and the establishment is expected to open in time for the 2008 baseball season. The former Outback employees have all been offered jobs at the chain's four other local locations.
