Sticky Fingers makes campaign cleanup more appetizing

Nation's Restaurant News,  Nov 27, 2006  by Elisa Elan

CHARLESTON, S.C. -- Sticky Fingers recently elected to reward patrons who cleaned up campaign clutter.

Following the recent midterm elections, the 17-unit barbecue chain, based here, decided to offer free appetizers to anyone who rid the area of leftover campaign signs positioned along local streets, according to the Associated Press.

"Just think of those leftover campaign signs as oversized, roadside gift certificates," Sticky Fingers co-owner Jeff Goldstein said.
