House-Autry mills to open Texas plant

Nation's Restaurant News,  Nov 5, 2007

FOUR OAKS, N.C. -- House-Autry Mills, the supplier of hushpuppy and other dry-food mixes for the foodservice and retail industries, has opened its first plant west of the Mississippi in Marshall, Texas. The opening of the Marshall facility is part of House-Autry's five-year expansion plan that is expected to give the company a national distribution capacity by 2012, its 200th anniversary.

The 20,000square-foot Marshall plant, which will process products for the foodservice and retail industries, will enable House-Autry Mills to serve markets in the western United States beginning with Texas and Oklahoma.
