Salt Lake City chamber honors local restaurateur provost

SALT LAKE CITY -- The Salt Lake Chamber of Commerce has presented its 2007 Athena Business Leader of the Year Award to Margo Provost, owner and operator of Log Haven restaurant here.

The award is given to an active member of the chamber who is committed to excellence, creativity and initiative in business. The chamber also recognized Provost for championing and empowering women in leadership roles and improving the quality of life in the community.

Provost opened Log Haven in 1994 in an historic log mansion in the Wasatch National Forest.
