Gavin Kaysen is leaving his job at El Bizcocho at the Rancho Berndardo Inn in La Jolla, Calif., to be chef at Cafe Boulud in New York City. Kaysen, who represented the United States in the most recent Bocuse D'Or international cooking competition, was named one of the country's ten best new chefs by Food & Wine magazine this year.
