Anti-Defamation League honors Trotter with Torch of Liberty

CHICAGO -- The Anti-Defamation League recently honored celebrity chef Charlie Trotter with its Torch of Liberty Award.

The event, which featured a keynote speech by Michael Lomonaco, former chef of New York City's Windows On The World restaurant and current operator of the Nuevo Latino Noche, honored Trotter for his promotion of diversity.

The Torch of Liberty Award is presented to an individual whose involvement in business and community promotes equal opportunity and brings together people of all races, religions and ethnic backgrounds

Founded in 1913, the Anti-Defamation League is the world's leading organization fighting anti-Semitism through programs and services that counteract hatred, prejudice and bigotry.
