MINNEAPOLIS -- General Mills Foodservice hosted industry leaders at its world headquarters here recently during its first meeting of the company's newly formed Champions Council. The three-day gathering provided an opportunity for members to collaborate for solutions to common issues and channel-specific challenges. One full day was dedicated to exploring existing opportunities for operators to build breakfast sales and how to extend breakfast products to other dayparts. The council represents various segments including business and industry, colleges and universities, K-12, health care, lodging, and restaurants.
