Nation's Restaurant News, Sept 10, 2007 by Elissa Elan
GREENBURGH, N.Y. -- Hear the one about the robber who was polite enough to wait while his victim made change?
That's right. According to a report by the Associated Press, James Mitchell, 48, saying he only wanted $4, allegedly robbed an 18-year-old at knifepoint, but wouldn't take the $10 bill offered to him. Instead the suspect insisted that the boy make change at a local pizzeria and give him the exact amount he requested. The teenager then alerted police to the robbery, and Mitchell was arrested.
