SUSSEX, ENGLAND -- For the last 17 years, an elderly couple here has visited their local McDonald's each day for the same meal and, well, they're still lovin' it.
According to the Daily Mirror, Lee and Mary Humphrey, both 84, arrive at the quick-service restaurant at 11 a.m. sharp, sit at the same table and order two double hamburgers, one portion of fries and a cup of coffee. Mary usually forks over one of her burgers to Lee, so he has three patties to chase down his coffee.
The couple even moved from their home two years ago in order to be in closer walking distance of the restaurant.
Their meal reportedly contains 860 calories, 33 grams of fat and has cost them somewhere in the neighborhood of $40,000 to date. But they say they will "feast on the fast food for the rest of their lives."
