TARRYTOWN, N.Y. -- The Elliot Leadership Institute, which provides executive leadership solutions for the foodservice industry, appointed Rachel Bents Anderson to the post of vice president of product development and training solutions.
A training and organizational development veteran, Bents Anderson will oversee design and implementation of the organization's portfolio of leadership development tools and solutions.
She reports to institute cofounder, president and chief executive Steve Caldeira.
Before joining the Elliot Leadership Institute, Bents Anderson worked as a district manager at American Eagle Outfitters, where she was responsible for training, recruitment, manager development, performance management and financial results for 11 stores in four Midwestern states. Prior to that she was an organization development consultant for the U.S. Bank in Minneapolis, where she developed succession management procedures and implemented enhanced training programs.
Before that Bents Anderson was director of training for the Chevys Fresh Mex restaurant chain. While there, she instituted training and developed initiatives. "Rachel's broad range of experience in all aspects of training and development is a perfect fit for everything we're trying to achieve through the institute," Caldeira said. "She's a tremendous asset for the institute and we're very pleased to have her on board."
