Botched robbery leaves delivery guy with all cash, no pizzas

Nation's Restaurant News,  July 30, 2007  by Mark Brandau

WICHITA, KAN. -- A recent stick-up attempt of a Domino's Pizza delivery man here could be viewed as a complete failure, unless of course you consider food to be more valuable than money.

According to the Wichita Eagle, shortly before 12:30 a.m. on July 19, the Domino's employee was making a delivery when he was robbed by two men. The bandits took no money, just three large pizzas, two bottles of Sprite, 20 chicken wings and 20 "chicken kickers."

Perhaps the robbers let the delivery man keep the cash as a tip.
