ATLANTA -- Rare Hospitality International Inc. said it had completed the sale of the Bugaboo Creek Steak House chain for about $24 million to Charlie Brown's Acquisition Corp., a steakhouse chain owned by New York-based Trimaran Capital Partners. Rare and its franchisees still operate 286 LongHorn Steakhouses and 28 Capital Grilles.
In addition to Bugaboo Creek, which has 30 steakhouses in 10 states, Trimaran owns the E1 Pollo Loco grilled-chicken chain.
