Metz to create educational programs for restaurant shows

NORWALK, CONN. -- The Ferdinand Metz Foodservice Forum will be featured at the Western Foodservice & Hospitality Expo in Los Angeles in August and the Florida Restaurant & Lodging Show in Orlando, Fla., in September, both of which are run by Reed Exhibitions.

Metz, who is president emeritus of The Culinary Institute of America and current president of the World Association of Chef Societies, will develop educational programs for the two regional foodservice events. Metz also is the founder of foodservice consulting firm Metz Culinary Innovations LLC and Masterchefs LLC. Former White House executive chef Walter Scheib and Louisiana culinary ambassador John Folse will host educational seminars at the events.
