J&W culinary dean wins American Culinary Federation Award

NORTH MIAMI, FLA. -- Bruce Ozga, dean of culinary arts education at Johnson & Wales University's North Miami campus, recently was honored as the Southeast Region Chef Educator of the Year by the American Culinary Federation.

Ozga received the distinction from the professional chefs' organization during a recent regional conference in Nashville, Tenn.

He will compete against three other regional winners at the ACF national convention to be held July 21-24 in Orlando, Fla.

Part of the competition will require the contestants to perform a cooking demonstration for a panel of national judges.
