WESTCHESTER, ILL. -- TreeHouse Foods Inc., based here, said it has purchased DeGraffenreid LLC, a Springfield, Mo.-based processor and distributor of pickles and other products to the foodservice industry, from Bell-Carter Foods Inc. The transaction was valued at $10 million and included an adjustment in working capital.
DeGraffenreid generates annual sales of about $23 million. The acquisition includes all of the company's working capital and production equipment.
