CLEARWATER, FLA. -- Dagwood's Sandwich Shoppes LLC, based here, signed a five-year beverage contract with The Coca-Cola Co. of Atlanta. Coca-Cola North America FoodService will supply Dagwood's restaurants with soft drinks, including Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite and Minute Maid juices.
In the past nine months, Dagwood's has sold 25 territories to market partners for development. The brand says it expects to open more than 1,200 outlets in the next five years.
