Shari's chain switches to Angus beef for all burgers

Nation's Restaurant News,  April 30, 2007

BEAVERTON, ORE. -- Shari's Family Restaurants, operator of the 98-unit family restaurant chain based here, has switched to the exclusive use of Angus beef for its burgers.

Shari's also is offering two new burger choices as part of the reintroduction of its burger line. The Wild West Angus Burger is topped with onion rings, bacon, Cheddar and barbecue sauce. The Philly Steak Angus Burger comes with thinly sliced steak, grilled onions, mushrooms and provolone. Every burger is served with a caddy of condiments, including Shari's New Burger/Fry Sauce 66, which the company calls a "classic blend of sauce reminiscent of burger toppings from days gone by."
