Qdoba creator, County Line team debut Cannoli Joe's

AUSTIN, TEXAS -- Qdoba Mexican Grill co-founder Bob Hauser has partnered with the owners of the 10-unit County Line barbecue chain here to launch an Italian buffet concept called Cannoli Joe's.

The 12,000-square-foot Austin facility features 12 themed dining rooms and a 3,000-square-foot scatter buffet with 10 cooking stations.

Austin Cannoli Joe's Ltd. debuted the restaurant April 9 in a converted site at an estimated cost of $4 million. Executives said the concept could be expanded elsewhere in Texas.
