Chinese restaurateur spends $75k, buys himself one lucky fish

BEIJING -- A restaurant owner in southern China recently paid 580,000 yuan, or about $75,000, for a giant golden fish, Agence France Presse reported.

The fish, reportedly a rare specimen, weighed 108 pounds and measured 5 feet 10 inches long. According to the report, the fish is the traditional symbol of wealth and good luck in China.
