Jack in the Box rolls out $3-$4 Real Fruit Smoothies

SAN DIEGO -- Real Fruit Smoothies debuted April 21 at Jack in the Box restaurants in several markets, primarily on the West Coast.

By the end of July, the 2,100-unit quick-service chain is scheduled to complete a national rollout of the new beverages, which are a blend of Minute Maid fruit juice and nonfat frozen yogurt in three flavors: Strawberry Banana, Mango and Orange Sunrise.

Franchisor-suggested prices are $2.99 for a 16-ounce smoothie and $3.99 for 24 ounces.

Jack in the Box branches in Idaho, Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Hawaii and throughout California are among those in the first phase of the rollout.
