Carla's Pasta names Williams CEO

SOUTH WINDSOR, CONN. -- Carla's Pasta Inc., which produces frozen pastas and pesto sauces chiefly for the foodservice industry, has named James M. Williams chief executive.

A 25-year veteran of the specialty food industry, Williams most recently served as chief executive of Monterey Gourmet Foods, which specializes in fresh pastas. Previously, he worked for Sara Lee Corp. and Bongrain Cheese USA, where he served as president and chief executive.
