Wendy's launches chicken salad Frescata sandwich

DUBLIN, OHIO -- Wendy's extended its sandwich line for the second time in three weeks with the introduction of the Chunky Chicken Salad Frescata.

Slated to be available through spring, the $3.49 item is all-white-meat chicken, celery, onions and green peppers in a Dijon-ranch sauce topped with tomato and romaine lettuce on Wendy's ciabatta-style bread, which is baked daily in the restaurants.

The 4-Alarm Spicy Chicken sandwich, launched earlier in March, will be available through mid-April.
