Vulcan-Hart honors Posternak Bauer as 2006 Rep of the year

BALTIMORE -- Vulcan-Hart, a supplier of cooking equipment to the foodservice industry, recently awarded its 2006 Rep of the Year Award to Posternak Bauer Associates Inc.

The New York-based manufacturers' representative has been selling the company's equipment since 1996. During that time, Vulcan's business in Posternak Bauer's market increased 400 percent. Posternak Bauer Associates serves the foodservice, bakery, supermarket and convenience store industries in the metropolitan New York and New Jersey and Fairfield County, Conn., areas.

"This year's winner promotes our line in one of the most competitive marketplaces in the world," said Jim Cullinane, vice president of sales for Vulcan. "Year after year, they do an outstanding job in representing our company, our brand and our products."

The selection for the Rep of the Year Award is based on sales for the year, attention to the line and product knowledge, among other criteria, Vulcan said.

Vulcan-Hart, based here, is an independent operating division of Illinois Tool Works.
