Bruster's Real Ice Cream awards marketing duties to Pittsburgh agency

BRIDGEWATER, PA. -- Bruster's Real Ice Cream has awarded marketing duties to Pittsburgh-based Think Communications Inc.

The agency is to develop a marketing program to support expansion plans and reinforce the chain's brand image. Billings were not disclosed. The program will focus on positioning the chain as a leader in quality and service, said agency creative director Todd Patterson.

Bruster's, which has 260 company-owned and franchised units in 18 states, serves such premium ice-cream products as milk shakes and sundaes as well as ice-cream pies and cakes made on site.
