Subway manager arrested on identify theft charges

Nation's Restaurant News,  April 2, 2007

ST. HELENS, ORE. -- The manager of a Subway here was arrested for allegedly stealing the identities of job applicants, according to KPTV.com, the website for a local television station.

A story on the website said the manager, identified as 26-year-old Stephanie Noland, was accused of using information on the victims' applications to open accounts. It also said she was charged with 40 counts of theft.

The allegations came to light after authorities arrested two of Noland's associates, who reportedly were casing cars for possible break-ins. The police found the Subway applications, as well as stolen mall and the memory cards from cell phones, KPTV reported.
