Ex-CKE chairman buys 4 Montana dining chains

Whitefish, Mont. -- A company formed by William Foley II, one-time chairman of the Carl's Jr. and Hardee's parent CKE Restaurants Inc., has acquired four restaurant chains in Montana with the stated intention of expanding them throughout the northwestern United States.

The brands acquired by Foley's Glacier Restaurant Group LLC are the 12-unit MacKenzie River Pizza Co. of Bozeman and the Whitefish-based Mambo's, Craggy Range Bar and Grill, and Corner House Grille chains.
