Far from Carr's first failure
Skeptical Inquirer, Nov-Dec, 2005 by John Tyrrell
You ran a brief news article on Anthony Carr's inability to use his psychic powers to help solve his granddaughter's abduction (July/August 2005). This is far from his first failure, and I documented an earlier failure on ApatheticAgnostic.com in "Meditation 72" nearly three years ago.
On October 27, 2002, in The Calgary Sun, Carr made a specific prediction about the actor Richard Harris: "Richard's cancer will go into remission; the third Potter film wins him industry-wide applause." Unfortunately for Carr, Harris had died two days previously. Carr's psychic powers failed to protect him from the embarrassment of a late and false prediction.
