Emily Kaplan is the new public lands advocate. Buffy Baumann is a lobbyist on ocean issues. Baumann previously worked at the Population Reference Bureau. Gretchen DuBeau will advocate on global warming and fuel standards. Lindsey Johnson will focus on health care and product safety in the consumer advocacy branch. Kerry-Ann Powell will work on the food safety team. Christy Leavitt is the new clean water advocate on the environmental staff. Prior, Leavitt spent four years working with California PIRG student chapters.
