An instructional video from the November 2001 Group Piano Seminar, co-sponsored by MTNA and the National Piano Foundation, is now available.
Excerpts from the "Getting Started in Group Teaching" seminar have been compiled into a two-hour, thirteen-minute instructional video. The seminar featured clinicians Marty Baker-Jordan, California State University, Fullerton; Brenda Dillon, National Piano Foundation; Martha Hilley, NCTM, The University of Texas at Austin; Mitzi Kolar, NCTM, San Diego State University; Joan Reist, NCTM, University of Nebraska, Lincoln, emeritus; and Marsha Wolfersberger, Claremont Community School of Music, Claremont, California, presenting diverse topics including defining group teaching, peer interaction, adapting favorite methods to group teaching and teaching repertoire in groups.
