Since you came I shun
the harsh Aegean sun.
Athena I abandon
To her perch upon
the parched Parthenon.
I seek the conundrum
of convoluted rooms,
of caves and canyons
where your intuition
subdues the weapon
of my reason.
In this fifth season
when vision is clear
you reappear.
