Swim Meet?
Last August, the man in the photo swam through a sea of rubber ducks in Silverdale, Washington. He was helping to gather up the thousands of floating ducks after the town's annual Great Duck Race. Every year, residents can pay $5 to sponsor a yellow duck The collected money goes to a group of charities. On race day, the sponsored ducks get released into Dyes Inlet The upward, buoyant force of the water keeps the lightweight ducks afloat as they glide on the water's surface along a marked route. The first duck to float past the finish line is the winner--and its "owner" wins a prize
