Stereo - Division News, Photography Tips & More! - Brief Article

PSA Journal,  June, 2002  by Mary Ann Rhoda

DSS Has Moved

In the April, 2002 column I listed the Detroit Stereographic Society with other stereo camera clubs. Steve Kiesling notified me they have moved their meeting location. The Detroit (Michigan) Stereographic Society now meets at the Livonia Shelden Park Senior Center, 10800 Farmington Rd., on Farmington Road just south of Plymouth Road. This is two miles south of the previous meeting place. Their meetings are now held on the second Monday of each month (7:30-9:30 pm), except July and August, instead of the second Wednesday. They have a variety of competitions, workshops and field trips. Steve says, "We encourage anyone interested in attending one of our meetings, to visit our club website: http://mywebpages.comcast.net/ dssweb/. Maps and other information are available to help people get to know us, and more importantly, to find us."

SCSC Website

The website for the Stereo Club of Southern California was left off their listing of Stereo Camera Clubs in the April column. Add this website to that list: http://home.earthlink.net/~campfire. Visitors are always welcome to all of the stereo camera clubs listed in the April, May and this column.

NSA Convention

You are invited to the World's Largest 3D Trade Show and Convention. Dozens of off-the-screen 3D slide shows, over 100 tables of equipment for sale, workshops and photo tours. The National Stereoscopic Association (NSA) Convention will be held at the Riverside Convention Center, 3400 Market Street, Riverside, California, July 11-15, 2002. Registration forms and other information can be found at: http//www.3dgear.com/NSA/SD.
