Sun, sand and surf (with an emphasis on the latter), as newcomer Kate Bosworth, Michelle Rodriguez arid other competitors gather on Maui's North Shore to see who can hang the best ten or ride the biggest tube. Women have been surfing competitively for ages, but one wouldn't know it from the movies--a situation this film will hopefully rectify. Expect top grade action sequences, plenty of young, hard bodies and all the technicolor glory of Hawaii. Surf's up!
