Wave of the future?
Interview, April, 2005 by Chris Dewey
Dear Interview,
Elton's Tip Sheet in your February issue certainly had some compelling things to say about the current state of radio. There's no question that it has to dramatically change, and few would argue that most stations have abysmal programming. But while satellite clearly offers a greater variety than standard radio, it is by no means a cure-all. As a longtime Sirius Satellite Radio subscriber, I can tell you that they're notorious for heavy rotation. Satellite is a fun alternative, but this player at least is still guilty of following the programming mediocrity of most FM stations.
