Charle's Angels. - Review - movie review
Interview, Nov, 2000 by Thelma Adams
Directed by Joseph McGinty Nichol
A quarter of a century after the original Charlie's Angels (which ran on ABC from 1976-81), this detective drama has been transformed. It's now an action-comedic vehicle for post-liberated wildcats Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz, and Lucy Liu. Unlike traditional dicks in trench coats, when these girls, er, women, go undercover, it usually means undercovered. With Bill Murray as their point man Bosley, that's exactly how the trio attempts to rescue a technology mogul--but the buzz is they might not be able to save this film.
