Trent Garrett

Interview,  August, 2004

"My scariest moment was being bitten by a shark two years ago in Haiti. I was out in the ocean getting ready to catch a wave when I felt something grab my arm. I looked down and saw this shark holding onto my left arm. I've always heard you should stun a shark, so I hit him on the nose, but before releasing me, the top part of his mouth bit down on my arm and blood started pouring into the water.

I got medical attention, but I've got a dip in my left arm now. I still surf, but I sure don't take naps on my surfboard anymore! Recently, I moved to Los Angeles, and the first day I got here I was hired at the Abercrombie & Fitch store. Now I'm ready to kick it up and take on acting. And if friends warn me to beware of the sharks in Hollywood, I'll just laugh!"
