Dear Interview,

If ever there was an actress deserving of attention, it is Rachel Weisz, so it was with real pleasure that I spotted that gorgeous portrait of her on your September cover. I've been an admirer of her work in a variety of small, charming roles for many years now, so I'm thrilled to hear that she has some big, meaty parts coming up. What's more, I think it says a lot about her that instead of just acting in empty entertainments designed to make money and ratchet her up the ladder of fame, she has chosen two new films which sound like they have real social significance, not to mention genuine creativity.
