Dear Interview,
As a creative photographer and artist, I much appreciated the interview with Ed Ruscha [July 2005] and discovering that we share many of the same influences. I liked Mr. Ruscha's response in which he said, "curators will forever be unearthing significant unknown American artists," etc. In high school I had a rock 'n' roll band, which led to my desire to do album art. My dream of having an album with an artwork of mine on the cover almost came true, but they ended up using a photo of a sand dune instead.
