Is there bamboo in your amazing kitchen?
You've seen her designs featured on HGTV's "Top 10 Amazing Kitchens," and you can be sure that stacked neatly in the cabinets and drawers (and on the countertops) of that kitchen is Joanne Hudson's ecologically and economically friendly line of bamboo products. The Bamboo Chop Block ($58.50), for instance, is a beautiful alternative to wood. The vertical-grained board (available in blond or golden) is made of 100% organically grown bamboo. Remember, though, that this extremely sturdy piece is not recommended for dishwashers. It should be cleaned in hot, soapy water and then wiped dry.

Bamboo Bowls, meanwhile, are available in large ($44.99), medium ($14.99), and small ($9.99) sizes, durable enough for everyday use and graceful enough to adorn your tabletop. They come in black, green, cantaloupe, and natural. Then there's the Green Party Gift Box ($49.99), complete with eight snapstix; 16 knives, forks, and spoons (48 total pieces); 16 seven- and nine-inch plates (32 total); and the keepsake paper mache round box. To keep all your bamboo kitchenware in tip-top condition, pick up some Bamboo Goo ($9.99 for an 8 oz. bottle), a blend of beeswax, carnauba wax, and vegetable-derived, food-safe ingredients.
