Here's one less reason to worry

When you ask parents about their biggest concerns, the answers, almost exclusively, relate to the safety of their children. One way that we can do more to protect our offspring is through the use of car seats. Having a child buckled properly in the correct device, and having it securely in place, go a long way toward that goal, as does selecting a car seat that is comfortable for the rider and convenient to install.
We found everything we were looking for in Travel Accessories' Deluxe High Back Booster Car Seat ($119.99) from Eddie Bauer Diversified Sales. Licensed by Dorel Juvenile Group, Cosco Management, Columbus, Ind., this seat is designed for children between 22-100 pounds and 34-52 inches.
This forward-facing car seat is intended for toddlers and features a five-point harness--easily adjustable from the front--with padded straps, and a headrest with four positions. For the child's comfort, it offers a three-position recline that adjusts with one hand and pivoting armrests. As a belt-positioning booster seat, it will accommodate children from 40-100 pounds.
This dual-use seat also is LATCH equipped, which means it employs the Lower Anchors and Tethers for Children system to strap the youngster's seat directly to anchors in the fold of the vehicle's seat, instead of using safety belts. Theoretically, either method should secure the baby seat, but the LATCH system produces more consistent results. The statistics regarding the number of improperly installed child restraints are astounding.
