A dog, a cat, a fish—and a tiger

USA Today (Society for the Advancement of Education),  Jan, 2007

Listening to music takes on a whole new dimension when we bring our animated friends in on the fun. We're talking about those creatures from Tiger Electronics that move and groove along to our beat. We can't help but smile when we plug any of our music systems (iPod, MP3, or CD player, stereo, etc.) into the i-Dog ($29.99), and watch its ears perk up and head tilt.

With a twist of its tail, we can listen to our media player through the i-Dog's speaker--or headphones--while watching the dog's personality change depending on the type of music it hears. The LED light patterns and animations reflect the mood of the pet, and its temperament will change based on the amount of interaction it receives. The i-Dog also can listen to music through a built-in microphone. Just sit it near a speaker and watch the reaction. In addition to the i-Dog, Tiger Electronics has an i-Cat and i-Fish.

We know that one thing that goes hand and hand with the music is the fashion industry. With Designer's World ($39.99), a television plug and play game, players can create their own designs, pick fabric and colors, and choose the runway models to present their line to judges at shows in Paris, New York, Tokyo, and Milan.
