Fascinating flashlights prove illuminating

Call us crazy, but we have an endless fascination with flashlights. With the tremendous variety on the market, there seems to be one for every conceivable need. Yet, we continue to run across new devices and delight in imagining all the different ways we can utilize these products--at least that's what we thought when we saw the MyLight LED Clip Light.

Similar to a booklight, but with more versatility, the Clip Light features a clamp with nonmarking rubber feet that opens 1 1/4" wide. It can be attached to a headboard, laptop, toolbox, music stand, etc. The spring-loaded clip closes just as tightly onto thin objects as thick ones and the circular feet pivot in their sockets to handle uneven surfaces.

The MyLight Latch Light, meanwhile, has an all-aluminum carabineer latch and can be attached to backpacks, belt loops, keychains, etc. Just set it to shine a pair of white LED lights or red night-vision lights. Moreover, the latch can be used as a base, so the light can stand on its own.

If you ever have an idea in the middle of the night, the MyLight Pen Light is handy to have around. The light ball is attached to the end of a pen which twists to extend and retract.

The light on each MyLight is about the size of a ping pong ball and never needs replacing. It swivels to any position and stays put. Each light comes in a variety of colors and is priced at $9.95. They are shock-resistant, waterproof, and contain two lithium batteries that last an average of 40 hours.
