Most people accurately can tell a person's age by viewing only their hands, suggests a study by the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, Arlington Heights, Ill. "Looking younger after a facelift or eyelid surgery can conflict with aged hands that simply do not match the face," points out Roxanne Guy, president of ASPS.

"After the face, hands are the second most visible, tell-tale sign of one's age"
