Get those crafty creative juices flowing

We've given up trying to make decisions whenever we see the outstanding and ever-evolving line of Creativity for Kids products from A.W. Faber-Castell USA, Inc., Cleveland, Ohio. It's all good, as the saying goes, and oh-so worth getting for the young ones. Truth be told, we've been on the Creativity bandwagon for years, and honestly cannot recall a clunker in the bunch. So, it's "Calling all kids!"--especially those who like to do crafts just for the fun of it--for the skinny on "wuz up" in the Creativity think tank.

* Feathery Fru Fru ($14.99) comes with a pink marabou boa to create a groovy girly memo line for your room. Decorate two pink tulle butterflies with glitter glue and add them to the ends of the boa. Hang memos, photos, and souvenirs from the clips that come with the kit. Feathery Fru Fru attaches to the wall with Velcro dots.

* Design Your Own Ribbon Memo Board ($19.99) like the ones seen in those teen catalogs. Paint the wood frame of a satin-padded memo board. Create a quilted effect with ribbons and thumbtacks (cover them with rhinestones). Slide in photos and other memorabilia. Hooks are included to hang the board horizontally or vertically.

* Paint an adorable wooden "window" with the Window Whimsy ($14.99) kit, then turn it into a picture frame, mirror, or room with a view. Paint a mini flowerpot to add to the windowsill. The window holds four photos or an acrylic mirror. There's also a clear acrylic sheet you can do reverse painting on to design your own unique view. Sticky tack is included to attach Window Whimsy to the wall, and you can reposition it whenever you want.

* Words For Your Walls ($17.99) contains wood letters to spell dozens of words. Paint whatever designs you like on the letters--there's a fine-point brush for detail and a second brush for broader strokes. Add some glitter glaze if you like and arrange the letters to spell out what's on your mind.

* Masquerade ($12.99) is loads of fun as you decorate two velvet masks (one white, one black) with rhinestones, glitter glue, and feathers. Pretend you're a mysterious guest at a party.

* The Sparkling Night Light ($4.99) lets some light into your night. Use "puffy" paint to turn a clear butterfly-shaped nightlight into a colorful stained glass delight, adding a gentle glow to the room while you sleep.

* Oodles of Poodles ($15.99) is all about decorating a trio--white, pink, and black--of endearing pooches. Do them up any way you like with a poodle-riffic paint palette. Add some dazzle with glitter, ribbons, and rhinestones.
